How do you celebrate the holidays?
December is always such a crazy month for me work-wise so by the time Christmas rolls around, I'm so excited to just snuggle with my boys and spend time together as a family.
We usually go on a trip just the four of us; this year we are headed to see my husband's family in San Francisco, then headed to Carmel for a few days before ending up in L.A. to see my family and our West Coast friends (many of whom we consider "chosen family"!).
Where will you be this season?
This year we will be in California however we also love to spend the holidays sailing in the Caribbean or skiing in Courchevel or Gstaad.
Are you a last-minute or way-in-advance shopper?
I am so focused on making sure all of my clients' holiday gifts are ready in time that I end up being very(!) last minute with my own brood!
What's the best gift you've ever received?
The best gift I've ever received is the book of "love letters" my husband had all of my friends and family write in honor of my 40th birthday. Not a holiday gift per se, however by far the most meaningful gift I've ever received. I will cherish it forever!
What's your go-to hostess gift?
I love to give Assouline coffee table books, yummy Jo Malone candles and flowers from my friend Robbie Fairchild's company Bookay.
Favorite spots to shop?
Bergdorf or bust!
What's on your list to get?
Donations to my favorite charities: The International Rescue Committee, The Actors Fund and The Ocean Conservancy.
