New York fashionistas braved the weather last night to attend a sample sale for hot young designers Rebecca Turbow and Timo Weiland at a private residence on W. 17th St. The sale highlighted Turbow's line Safe Clothes, all crafted in her signature shades of gray, with marked-down pieces from the Fall '08 collection, as well as the chance to preview and pre-order selections from the Spring '09 line.
More story and photos below:
Weiland, along with his partner Alan Eckstein, showcased their current collection of impeccably-crafted, architectural neckwear, featuring pieces that range from skinny, sixties-inspired ties to luxurious draped collars in leather, satin, and silk.
Also available for sale were Timo! Wallets, the perfect bright and colorful accompaniment to any pair of skinny jeans. Some of our favorite boys and girls about town came out to shop, including Paul Johnson-Calderon, Adrien Field, Tia Walker, Malisa Meresman, Alex Keith, and Carter Cramer.
