Frigid weather didn’t stop fashionistas and friends from attending Thursday night’s Got Green's Sustainable Style event at Edge NY Noho. Guests braved the below freezing temperature to celebrate the launch of the new fashion book Born Again Vintage: 25 Ways to Deconstruct, Reinvent and Recycle Your Wardrobe by designer Bridgette Artise of B. Artise Originals. A joint trunk show featuring the B. Artise Originals collection and high-end vintage digs from Harlem boutique J.B. B.O.R.N. and live, informal fashion presentation, also added to the evening’s green-themed event.

Over 100 guests sipped Long Isalnd based Bouké wine, and enjoyed cocktails provided by Smirnoff, Crown Royal and Ciroc. Additional sponsors included: Totally Nude, Slap energy drinks, Drive Mint, 3RLiving.com; Wellington Hair Spa, Makari and John Mazlish photography. To promote charitable giving, many guests contributed recycled clothing, including gently worn or new business attire items, to New York’s Dress for Success, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing professional attire to disadvantaged women transitioning into the work force.
