Sure, it seems pretty much unthinkable now, but back in the good old days, when DJT was just your typical B-list reality star and wealthy(ish) toupee-about-town, he was a frequent attendee of the annual event. He enjoyed being around fashion's liberal elite so much in fact, that in 2004 he used the event as the perfect setting to propose to Melania (way to kill two birds with one party, bud). The last time he attended was in 2012, and Anna Wintour has made it clear that he'll never be invited back.
