How did you come to start posting daily outfit shots?
The very first one was in 2017 headed out the door in a big hat going to the Frederick Law Olmstead ‘Hat Luncheon’ in Central Park. The inspiration is really from the heyday of John Fairchild’s WWD pages. They’d send a photographer to snap the ladies emerging from Le Cirque or The Colony Club - Jackie O, Lee Radziwill, Nancy Kissinger and Nan Kempner. Just THE BEST and it was ALL REAL. Nothing borrowed, their things and their style. OWNED IT. Of course Bill Cunningham is another inspiration - but his was more street style and high fashion. Fairchild got into their lives and what they were doing and they were not anonymous.
