Throwback to the oh-so-chic Juicy Couture jumpsuits that you wanted in every color nearly a decade ago. A casual #OOTD in the mid-00s consisted of the velour athleisure set with their signature "J" zipper - when everyone saw it they knew you had it goin' on.
Originally designed for Madonna in 2001, Juicy attempted to gain publicity by sending its designs to celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, obviously Paris Hilton and her pre-famous sidekick Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, and so many others - needless to say it worked because virtually every girl had at least one...or maybe three...tracksuits during the mid-aughts. Unfortunately, like most fashion trends, the matching velour get-up style faded out, leading Juicy to shut down its stores in the U.S in 2014. But despite temporarily falling from fame, Juicy was basically the s%#t of the 2000s and can be seen at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London because it was so iconic. The museum displays a 2004 iteration of the two-piece in its exhibition, Undressed: A Brief History of Underwear which launched in April of this year.
Now brace yourselves for this one: Juicy. Is. Back. Yes, you read that right, Juicy is back and has teamed up with Bloomingdale's to relaunch the low-rise, ass-hugging pants and short "J" zip-up jackets for a limited designer capsule collection. The brand also collaborated with the trendiest label out there - Vetements - this past Couture Week. We are so ready for these #TBT jumpsuits, but would you wear them again? Let's just take a moment to revisit the celebs that made #JuicyCoutureIsLife...
