What are three wardrobe staples you think every guy needs in his closet?
Good Denim! That is my number one. I think you can base most outfits around a good pair of black/blue/white jeans. Patterned denim and work pants are pretty in right now, so it's always fun to mix it up with a pair of Denim Tears or Kody Philips pants with the more classic denim.
Nice loafers and/or leather sneakers. Loafers are such a good staple and you can get good ones anywhere from Bass Weejuns to Loro Piana. For sneakers, I’ve been on a Maison Margiela replica kick, and also have experimented with Rick Owens….but you can also catch me often in a classic pair of Converse or vans slip-ons.
Good hoodies!! Obviously, I am a huge hoodie fan and when in doubt, will always pack a hoodie. I love dressing them up with a nicer outfit and making it a bit more stylish to go out with friends, or if I am just being cozy staying in. A good hoodie is essential.
