Havoc Henry goes beyond just clothing. The Instagram page, for example, feels like a creative mood board. What direction are you aiming to take the brand?

I know the word ‘aesthetic’ has been brutally abused in recent years, but I want Havoc Henry to be an overall community and taste club. Garments are just the icing on the cake here and I am shooting for Havoc Henry to be an overall mentality and way of life. A tongue and cheek approach to daily life where you don’t need to take yourself so seriously and can enjoy what’s going on around you. It's aspirational and pays homage to classic parts of culture. I am a very nostalgic person as well, and I think that comes out through my page and the brand. Like many, I am a bit obsessed with the '80s and although I was not alive yet, it is a huge part of our daily culture and something I draw from a lot. The music and the beginning of MTV and rock stars then just all seemed like a fever dream. So I am aiming to take Havoc Henry into the future, while remembering and taking critical aspects of the past that influenced our culture and our style and way of life. I also try to tap into emotions a bit, and have followed accounts like “We're not really strangers” and seen them grow and tap into the ethos and more vulnerable side of us that we all have in us. Mental health and vulnerability is finally more accepted in society and culture, and is something important to talk about, especially in this day and age.

If you know me, you know I am a huge music guy and that music is a major passion of mine. Although I don’t know how to make it really, I think it’s a taste thing, and I pride myself on finding and sharing my favorite music daily and in playlists. When I started this excursion and brand, I decided to leave it a bit open ended and call it a Creative Agency and lifestyle brand, because I don’t want to pigeonhole myself just yet. Funny story is my very first email when I launched the website in October was from Zegna to create a playlist for their stores and for their upcoming launch party. So music direction is also a key part of this brands DNA and a industry I hope to tap into.
