In case you forgot, Oscar night wasn't the only event we had to look forward to this week. International Women's Day inspired events around the globe, and Diane Von Furstenberg, style pioneer, took the opportunity to release an album!
Okay, so it isn't her album, per se, but a compilation of tracks recorded by some of your favorite lady performers. Proceeds of the album's sales go to Vital Voices, but that venerable organization isn't the only thing that benefits - we do, with party pictures!
Showing their support for Ms. DVF and her labor of love were singer Estelle, Panmela Castro-Anarkia, Vital Voices chair Alyse Nelson, socialites Becka Diamond and Kristian Laliberte, and a slew of altruistic P.Y.T.s. Partygoers sipped cocktails, danced to beats mixed by DJ Kiss Taylor, and took comfort in the knowledge that their socializing benefited millions of women around the globe.
