With the word "cult" right there in its name, it's no surprise that fashion brand Cult Gaia has emerged as a go-to for coveted, cult-favorite, and instantly-recognizable pieces, from the ubiquitous summertime Ark bag, to the certified Objets d'Art that is the acrylic pearl purse. From clothing to accessories, the label has always combined creativity with function, and now they're applying that passion to a gorgeous, and charitable, new initiative.
Following Cult Gaia's successful #CultGaiaLetsDance challenge in partnership with No Kid Hungry for the month of April, which saw support from Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Delilah Belle, and Lisa Rinna, the brand is now joining forces with Turnaround Arts for a colorful social media campaign that brings art and style together.
For every post using the hashtag #CultGaiaLetsCreate and tagging @CultGaia, Turnaround Arts will donate one art kit from Joann's to a child in a high need community to encourage creativity at home. A number of illustrators have already joined in with works inspired by their favorite pieces, including TAPPAN artists Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck and Marleigh Culver and beloved Instagram artists, @blairz and @jessillustrator.
