Big blue butt plugs aren't the first thing you think of when you think of chic New York art parties, but maybe last night's New Museum Spring Gala has changed that. Some of the city's most stylish patrons partied around one (a piece donated by artist Paul McCarthy) at the annual event held at Cipriani Wall Street. After a glamorous dinner attended by everyone from Jeff Koons to Cynthia Rowley, the synth-y pop duo Chairlift took to the stage, closing out the night on an artistic-if not experimental-note.
