Meet randomly on Instagram and realize that you are basically twins who shop at the same consignment stores. Also become friends with their awesome girlfriend, Sonali #robbieandsonaliforever. Take day trips together, realize that you would stop everything that you’re doing to talk either of them through a moment of stress, because you’re legit besties. You found friend-love on Instagram, a hopeless place!
This was my accidental strategy, and I realize it will only work if you’re playing the long game. Even if you meet a photographer today who is your soul twin, you’ll probably have to wait for the next NYFW for your shot. This tip is dedicated to my friend Rob (of IG fame @papculture), who is amazing. Not the most practical tip, I just wanted to be honest with you guys about where my fashion week pics are coming from.
