Intricate floral headpieces, dramatic dresses, and a bevy of umbrellas - all within a historic New York cemetery. If there was ever a duo we could count on to bring the whimsy - with a somewhat dark romantic twist - it's Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the sister designers behind Rodarte.

Returning to New York after a two-year hiatus (during which they showed in Paris and unveiled a lookbook online), the Mulleavy sisters put on a show worthy of the occasion, with a Spring/Summer 2019 collection to match. Bold beauty looks (including the blooming hair creations by Odile Gilbert) could only complement the tulle, ruffles, and exaggerated silhouettes. Fierce, feminine, and Instagrammable - not even the rain could ruin this parade.

Post-runway, the designers and their It Girl friends, including Brie Larson and Lisa Love, hit the Jane Rooftop (an appropriately vintage setting) for a pizza and Ruffino Wine-fueled bash. Following the sad news of his passing, Burt Reynolds graced the T-shirts of both Kate and Laura - as if you needed another reason to be obsessed with them.
