All the men in leather jackets, all the women in black slip dresses, middle-aged rockers dancing on the pool table, and the double-braided Courtney Taylor-Taylor throatily crooning basked in purple on a makeshift stage. Never have the lyrics "I'm feeling so bohemian like you" rang more true. Last night at the Gramercy Park Hotel's intimate, art-filled Rose Bar, the '90s came back full force with a performance by cult favorite, The Dandy Warhols. A fashionable set, including Public School/DKNY designers Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow, Elle Dee, Matt Green, and Kristin Gallegos came out to jam front and center, while It-Kids Jaden Smith and Sarah Snyder cuddled in a corner, largely under the radar. The exclusive musical fête was held to toast the band's new album, Distortland, and if the global response correlates at all to this New York crowd's enthusiasm, this record's going to be a big one.
