Last night marked the Opening Night of the Performa Biennial, an event regarded as one of the most anticipated in the winter art scene of NYC. Acclaimed artists Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset presented their first large performance in the city of New York.
After the performance, ticket holders spent the evening at the Skylight Studio with cocktails and dinner. Elmgreen and Dragset showcased Retrospective, which included six live works of art, at the cocktail dinner.
Hosted by Julie Blakeslee and John Spong, guests included Ambassador Sissel Breie, Amy Cappellazzo, Toby Devan Lewis, Wendy Fisher, Ambassador Jarl Frijs-Madsen, Amanda Fuhrman, Glenn Fuhrman, RoseLee Goldberg, Dakota Jackson, Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn, Nicolas Rohatyn, and Cindy Sherman.
