RH (formerly Restoration Hardware) hosted a blockbuster party last night to celebrate the opening of RH New York, The Gallery in the historic Meatpacking District. Nearly two thousand celebs, influencers, and VIP customers rubbed elbows at the lavish, six-story destination situated on 9th Avenue to toast the new retail concept which features a rooftop restaurant, wine terrace and barista bar by Brendan Sodikoff, iconic views of downtown Manhattan, and the ultimate display of luxe furnishings.
And RH didn’t offer just a basic glass of champagne for their star-studded opening – guests enjoyed fresh bellinis by Cipriani NYC, a caviar bar and vodka cocktails, a Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley wine bar, rosé on the rooftop and passed gourmet bites which helped create a unique experience as we explored throughout the space. A-listers including Karlie Kloss, Portia De Rossi, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Elizabeth Chambers, Nina Agdal, Taylor Hill, Ryan Seacrest, Martha Stewart, and Waris Ahluwalia joined RH CEO Gary Friedman in celebrating the unveiling and supporting Friends of the High Line and Free Arts NYC.
