The crowd was all sparkles and smiles this past Monday at the Alzheimer’s Association Imagine Benefit.
Hosted by the gala's founder and general chair Princess Yasmin Aga Khan, the evening was a welcome return for many to the charity circuit - a chance to sport something special, catch up with old friends, and support the work of an amazing organization.
Alzheimer's affects more than 6 million Americans. Princess Yasmin's mother, Hollywood icon Rita Hayworth, passed away from the disease all too early at the age of 68, inspiring her, like many others present at the charitable party, to devote herself to the cause.
An evening full of storytelling and musical performances, this year's Imagine Benefit at Jazz at Lincoln Center raised more than $600,000 to fund the Alzheimer’s Association's critical work.
