New York has often been described as the epicenter of cool, and it was no more than the epitome of that at the Guggenheim's International Gala Pre-Party last night. The fashion, art, music, and movie worlds collided at the evening's benefit, made possible by Dior. The night culminated with musical guests The XX, performing a five song set in the Great Hall of the museum under the mesmerizing video orb installation, "White Balloon," by Otto Piene. Guests, including Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls, gathered around the circular stage at the center of the room, as partygoers filled the floor and balconies for a chance to see the truly magical show.
