With all the glass ceilings in the world, it feels good to be a woman in a female-led industry, namely, fashion. This week, on the first sunny day in what felt like forever in NYC, designer Misha Nonoo hosted the first in a series of conversations for professional women at Hôtel Americano’s La Piscine. Discussing the "Boundaries of Being a Female Role Model," she was joined by Man Repeller's Leandra Medine, Harper's Bazaar's Laura Brown, and art aficionado and Paddle8 founder, Hikari Yokoyama for a poolside chat. Stylish guests included socialites, CEOs, and editors, who snacked on mini sliders and sipped watermelon juice while listening to the clever group talk social media, oversharing, and the importance of respecting other women in the industry.
