Tribeca-based visual artist Rad Roubeni hosted a closing party on February 14th, to celebrate Valentine's Day as well as his 2 month-long exhibition in the Lower East Side’s public display pop-up gallery. “This has been an amazing experience for me. Most people will never have the opportunity to see these scenes as they are in my photographs – I am so grateful that I was able to show these works – which are merely a fleeting moment in time” says Roubeni.
Guests included street artist Hash Halper, as well as artistic bystanders who felt inspired by the creativity they saw while peering into the gallery. Upon walking in, you could find children from the ages of 4 all the way up to adults, using chalk to create their own “street art” all over the pop-up Gallery. This was by far one of the most unique and creative art exhibits, combining the artist's street art with the art of the people.
