It was a huge night for the art world on Wednesday as the Whitney Museum of American Art hosted its last gala and studio party at its Madison Avenue location before the much-anticipated move downtown. The event, presented by Louis Vuitton, drew a creative but equally fashionable crowd, with guests including everyone from models Hilary Rhoda and Riley Keough to artists Jeff Koons and Chuck Close. The dinner and dance party at the Breuer building honored the 98 living artists who have had survey exhibitions at the location and featured a live performance by Elvis Costello and DJ set by Zen Freeman. In a stunning series of projections, the party also celebrated the new views of the Meatpacking District building. Click through for an inside look at the Whitney's epic event!
