Friday night marked the 20th Annual New York Botanical Garden’s Winter Wonderland Ball. With gala chairs that included Georgina Bloomberg and Ariana Rockefeller, it’s no wonder this was one of the most anticipated events of the season.
Guests arrived in the Bronx to an elegant red carpet entrance. The Host Committee mingled while the photographers were busy capturing the dazzling display of breathtaking bespoke gowns. This year, the exquisite style on display could have easily rivaled the best dressed list of the Met Gala. No details were too small for this chic crowd, who wore everything from hand painted lace to custom Elizabeth Kennedy. Elizabeth Kennedy herself was in attendance supporting long time fashion friends Ariana and Kathrine Rockefeller.
Attendees were able to enjoy the Botanical Gardens Holiday Train show before entering the magical ambiance of the Conservatory tent for gourmet dining and a party like no other. High society let their hair down while the DJ kept the party going until well past midnight.
Proceeds from the Winter Wonderland Ball support the New York Botanical Garden’s Children’s Education Program. This world-renowned program provides children and their families with innovative opportunities to connect with nature throughout the year. This highly anticipated, always-glittering black tie event is the pinnacle of the winter gala holiday season, and this year was no exception. Click through for an inside look!
