With his long hair, vintage bell bottoms, and tied-up crop top, Garrett Borns looks like he took a left turn straight out of the '70s. And it's not just his fashion sense that would make Robert Plant proud - the performer's high notes and dreamy sound are more of a throwback than anything else. For someone who's not quite the Justin Bieber of the pop world, Garrett, better known as simply BØRNS, has his fair share of fangirls and radio play. A penchant for Gucci has also gotten him noticed by creative director Alessandro Michele. Not a bad fan to have.
On Thursday, BØRNS took over the swank lounge of the Gramercy Park Hotel for an exclusive Rose Bar Session. The intimate show saw the likes of downtown cool kids including Sophia Lamar, Kristin Gallegos, and Ian Mellencamp rocking out to the on-the-rise star.
