The highlight of the fall social calendar, the Frick Collection's Autumn Dinner made its triumphant return this week and the who's who of New York society celebrated in style. Longtime patrons, young fellows, and fashionable philanthropists-about-town stepped out for the always glamorous affair, which honored Ronald S. Lauder, a friend and steadfast supporter of the beloved institution, and raised vital funds for the museum's development and activities.
As the Frick's first major in-person event in over a year, the fete served as a reunion of sorts for the glittering names and faces on the guest list. After a greeting from the Chair of the Frick’s Board of Trustees Betty Eveillard, the likes of Lili and Howard Buffett, Aerin Lauder, Arielle Patrick, Larry Milstein, and Wes Gordon rubbed elbows in their black tie best, enjoying a cocktail hour before sitting down for a gorgeous multicourse dinner.
The night's honoree, Ronald S. Lauder, was given a toast for his remarkable contributions to the art world and for his longstanding dedication to the Frick. After taking to the podium himself, he was presented with a commemorative silver tray donated by Tiffany & Co.
