On Wednesday, October 2, FIAF’s Young Patrons held its second annual Fall Fête in FIAF’s 8th-floor Skyroom. Committee co-chair Patricia de Picciotto presented guest of honor Richard Taittinger, president of Richard Taittinger Gallery and founder of Frerejean Frères Champagne, with an award designed by the artist Daniel Arsham. In accepting the award, Taittinger said, “Long story short, I’m an entrepreneur with two crazy passions: Champagne and art,” before posing for a photo artist. Additional committee co-chairs who were present included Stephanie Arsham, Markus M. Buchmeier, Nicholas Coblence, Alexander Dulac, Patrick Kirby, Barbara Luse, Clémence von Mueffling, Patricia de Picciotto, and Kristin Simmons.
They were later joined by FIAF artistic director Courtney Geraghty, along with performers Aurélie Charon, Caroline Gillet, and Amélie Bonnin who presented their multimedia show “Radio Live” in FIAF’s Florence Gould Hall earlier that evening.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed Grand French 75 cocktails by Grand Marnier, hors d’oeuvres from Bagatelle, petit fours from Bon Vivant, and Champagne from Frerejean Frères Champagne.
