This weekend, David Yurman is transforming Madison Square Park into a chic summer jewelry destination. Festivities began Thursday night, when the beloved bracelet designer hosted a private soirée bursting with stars to celebrate the launch of his latest collaboration with Fondazione Geronimo: the Summer Solari Collection. Irina Shayk, Anya Ziourova, Yvonne Force Villareal, Amy Sacco, Lynn Yaeger and more all braved the rain to fete the collection.
Following the big bash, the can't-miss experience is now open to the public - from June 21st through June 23rd. Take photos in the roving photo booth, catch a performance by the insanely amazing hula-hoop artist Marawa Wamp, and grab some serious deals! David Yurman Brand Ambassadors will be on-site giving away 500 branded paper fans per day, which can be brought to their SoHo store for a special prize, and 500 custom tokens per day, which will get you a free custard at the Madison Square Park Shake Shack.
But the real pièce de résistance? An out-of-this-world, celestial, abstract installation inspired by the bracelets in the Summer Solari collection by artist Jihan Zencirli, AKA Geronimo. We're talking eighteen-foot-tall arches and 6-foot-tall spheres, all reminiscent of those of Yurman’s designs.
