It appears Carrie Bradshaw and "The Russian" are still on good terms after all these years! Last night, Sarah Jessica Parker joined hosts Mikhail Baryshnikov, Patti Smith, and Hamish Bowles for a special screening of The White Crow, presented by The Cinema Society and Sony Pictures Classics. An iconic dancer himself, it makes sense Baryshnikov (a.k.a. Aleksandr Petrovsky) would be a fan of the film; directed by Ralph Fiennes, it tells the tale of Rudolf Nureyev, the legendary ballet dancer who defected from the Soviet Union and sought asylum in Paris in the 1960s.

The stylish crowd at Metrograph also included Anna Wintour, Bianca Jagger, Andy Cohen, and Carolina Herrera. Afterwards, guests celebrated Fiennes and star Oleg Ivenko at chic new restaurant R17, The Roof of Pier 17, toasting specialty Monkey 47 Gin cocktails named "A Dancer's Passion."
