Desperate for a quick escape to Italy? Well lucky for you Brunello Week will have you living la dolce vita without the long flight!

Clear your calendars because Monday, June 14th through Sunday, June 20th, Il Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino is shaking up the New York restaurant scene with a taste of Tuscany. A special collection of fifty six regional winemakers, like Val Di Suga, Terre Nere, Tenute Nardi, and Ridolfi, will be partnering up with forty restaurants across Manhattan and Brooklyn, serving up seven days of amazing wine-drinking experiences.

So what's being poured? Why their finest bottles of Brunello di Montalcino, a dry wine with a harmonious body and a lengthy aromatic persistence, and Rosso di Montalcino, a red wine with a light touch best enjoyed before dinner!

To celebrate these divine wines, each restaurant will be creating custom tasting menus to pair with these vintages for the ultimate can't-miss culinary event.

“New York is the most representative American market for Brunello di Montalcino,” says the president of the Tuscan Consorzio, Fabrizio Bindocci. “The natural channel for the penetration of our wines in the USA has always been hospitality, so it was equally natural for us to plan Brunello Week and partner with many great restaurants. Our goal is not only to celebrate the wines but also to lend a helping hand to an industry that has deeply suffered from the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.”

Whether you're an amateur sommelier looking for something special to savor, or a wine novice curious to expand your palette, be sure to grab reservations at any of the below participating restaurants before they inevitably fill up!

    Salute!
