It was a moonlit evening fit for a painting last night at the Frick Collection, where the 18th annual Young Fellows Ball took the museum by storm. The dreamy scene began in the blue-lit Garden Court, where glamorous patrons gathered around the famous fountain, Absolut Elyx cocktails and Perrier-Jouët champagne in hand. Event partner Carolina Herrera shone in a stunning pantsuit alongside chairmen including Amory McAndrew, Rickie De Sole, and Joann Pailey, while Nicky Hilton Rothschild glittered in a silver gown on her hubby's arm.
Inspired by the Frick's special exhibition, Turner’s Modern and Ancient Ports: Passages through Time, the "Turner By Moonlight" gala saw guests dressed in their luminescent best, wandering the elegant galleries before taking to the dance floor in the Music Room with DJ Allison Kinney. It was a welcome occasion to trade snow boots for stilettos and attendees quite literally partied until the music died.
