As if an evening celebrating ballet at the Metropolitan Opera House wasn't glamorous enough, A-listers stepped up their gala game last night for the American Ballet Theatre, taking in a performance of Alexei Ratmansky’s season opener, Whipped Cream. Blake Lively was bright in a yellow Oscar de la Renta number, while her BFF for the evening, Katie Holmes, went bold in red Zac Posen. The usual suspects on the social scene were also in attendance, including Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Allison Sarofim, and our favorite dapper gent, Eric Rutherford. Post-show, guests partied at the neighboring David H. Koch Theater, where honorary chair Caroline Kennedy declared that the event was the most successful in ABT history, raising $3.4 million.
