Oh to dine beside Warhols, Basquiats and Harings...
Could there be a more divine, artsy mise-en-scène?
In celebration of Pop To Now, currently on view at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, exhibit partner AKTION ART hosted an opening evening fête worthy of the beyond special occasion.
Guests joined for a discussion panel, which featured Warhol's iconic muse and celebrated collector Jane Holzer in conversation with Aktion Art Founder Nick Hissom, as well as insightful remarks by artists ThankYouX, Kristin McIver, Kevin HEES, Aktion Art Founder Kameron Ramirez, and Director of the Bechtler Museum Todd Smith.
Following the lively chat, 85 art world notables made their way through the exhibit, which features over 80 works by Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, and present contemporary artists, to a gallery gorgeously set with an art-inspired seated dinner.
In typical AKTION ART style, the soirée continued late into the evening, with guests flocking from the museum to the Presidential Suite of the Kimpton Tryon Park.
