The Underground

Of course, it wasn't long before tales of illegal and illicit underground bashes emerged. The New York Post reported member-frequented downtown haunt Omar's La Boîte (which did just open this January) hosted a secret party for an intimate group of “privileged business owners” who are “big in the downtown scene” which required a code at the door for entrance. Speakeasy-like scenes were also detailed in Air Mail: cash-bars and back rooms and ketamine-and-cocaine "swirlies." Instagram models yelled "cheers to corona!" and encrypted invites went out to a select few.

That was way back in May, and, obviously, secret partying is still going strong.
