Zosia Mamet of GIRLS
Zosia, Who plays Shoshanna on
HBO's GIRLS, took to the Kickstarter site to fund a music video with her folk-band "The Cabin Sisters," in which she and sister Clara are lead singers. The sister-duo planned to film the video for the heartbreaking single "Bleak Love" with pledge money. Unfortunately, the Kickstarter community didn't take to the folk project too well.
Status: Failed, only raised $2,783 (less than 10%)
Goal: $32,000
Rewards: $2,000 for a 45 minute Skype session with the sisters, $7,000 to be an extra in the video, and $8,000 for a signed set chair from GIRLS.
