BIG LITTLE LIES - Liane Moriarty
Big Little Lies is a great book, and an even more fantastic TV show. If you're one of the 10 people left in America who hasn’t seen the show, I highly encourage you to read the book first. Though you may find yourself frustrated, because the plot of the show deviates quite a bit from the novel. If you’ve already seen the show, I cannot stress this enough, don’t bother with the book. You’ll get nothing out of it. There are plenty of books that are worth reading despite being turned into movies or tv shows. For example, you’d be remiss to miss out on the entirety of the Crazy Rich Asians series. And the Me Before You trilogy is an absolute delight as well. Big Little Lies is not that book, so just be happy with the HBO adaptation and read The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty instead.
