THE WOMAN IN THE WINDOW - AJ Finn
If I could scream at the top of my lungs a book not to read, it would be A Women in the Window by AJ Finn. I read this book over a year ago before the scandals were brought to light, and was underwhelmed at best. However, once the truth came out about the author, whose name is really Daniel Mallory, I have made it my personal mission to stop people from reading this book. When I see it at an airport news stand, I hide it behind other books. Daniel Mallory lied about his entire family dying and having cancer (read the New Yorker piece on it). And the book is also believed to be plagiarized. Despite all of this, he was paid a cool million dollars to have it made into a major motion picture starring Amy Adams. Let’s boycott, shall we?!
