If you're super into photography or even practice it yourself, be sure to visit the International Center of Photography in Midtown. The ICP, founded to preserve the legacy of "concerned photography," brings works of various photographers to the public and promotes a constant discussion on the role of photography. It is also one of the largest photography schools in the world and you can register for classes of your choice.
Currently, the Center is showing "Genesis" by Sebastião Salgado, a world-renowned photographer conducting a survey on major global issues in environment and climate change. This is the first time that the exhibition is presented in the US.
The exhibition will run at ICP until January 11th.
