Although San Andreas starred Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, box office favorites Bradley Cooper and Emma Stone both dominate Aloha, which was sure to make it a hit--until, that is, controversy swelled around it. While we can't confirm that white-washing the cast of a movie taking place in Hawaii was the purpose for Aloha's flopping in theaters, we can definitely speculate that that was the reason. Either way, San Andreas destroyed the last weekend of May.
