Le Jardinier
A you may have noticed, a lot of restaurants in Miami have taken a healthy approach to food lately. Le Jardinier is on top of that list when it comes to sustainability. The menu is based on classic French technique that combines seasonal fruits and vegetables with wild and sustainable fish and meat. Their rooftop garden is where they grow a variety of products for the kitchen, like the aforementioned fruits and vegetables/herbs. They really pride themselves in their vegetable centered menu. That doesn't mean they don't have delicious fresh lobster and salmon, it just means they're complimented with veggies they pick fresh from their garden.
You must try the roasted cauliflower with tomatillos, sunflower seeds and curry as well as the honeynut squash agnolotti with chanterelle mushrooms and gingerbread whey. Every plate is bursting with flavor and you don't have to feel bad because literally nothing in this menu is unhealthy, including the dessert.
On a final note, the decor here is some of the best in Miami - a calm palette with bursts of color (mainly green) make you feel alive and happy. It is a French place, so the portions are a bit smaller, but when the food is this vibrant the portions don't mater.
