Bungalow by the Sea at Cadillac Hotel
This beachfront bar and restaurant is located in one of the best hotels in Miami Beach. It's the perfect location to stay during Art Basel as it's right next to the 41st street bridge and on a quiet strip of hotels not far from the main activities. Bungalow by the Sea is located in the back of the hotel with direct views of the sand and sea. Their raw bar and extensive selection of roses and wines are very popular during lunch. The menu is local seafood inspired grub with fresh oysters, lobster and crab by the half pound. Try their grilled catch of the day as you enjoy the light ocean breeze between art shows.
The hotel itself is something to marvel at - every aspect embodies the spirit of the European Riviera mingled with Miami's iconic Art Deco design. There are two pools - including an adult-only one near the beach. The spacious rooms are beautifully decorated and set up so that even the side rooms with balconies have views of the water. Donna Mare Trattoria is another restaurant at the hotel, and they're great for breakfast and brunch. This is the perfect location if you enjoy a little peace and quiet after a long day of events.
