The Anti-Vax Drama

As first reported by the New York Times, Leila Centner sparked the drama after informing parents and staff of a new policy banning employees at the school from getting the vaccine. In a letter, Centner claimed that “reports have surfaced recently of non-vaccinated people being negatively impacted by interacting with people who have been vaccinated." Echoing the latest conspiracy theories circulating on the internet, she added that inoculated people “may be transmitting something from their bodies...[that could harm] reproductive systems, fertility, and normal growth and development in women and children."
"With a very heavy heart," she said, any teacher or staff member who chose to get vaccinated would not be allowed near the students, additionally informing them that they would be required to fill out a "confidential" form stating whether or not they have or are planning to get the vaccine.
In an email to parents, Centner wrote, "It is our policy, to the extent possible, not to employ anyone who has taken the experimental COVID-19 injection until further information is known."
For a school that proudly advertises "medical freedom" on its homepage, the move seems a tad hypocritical, no?
