The Centner Academy
In 2019, David and Leila unveiled the Centner Academy, a private, progressive, and immersive "happiness school" in the trendy Miami Design District. There are currently around 300 students enrolled, from prekindergarten through eighth grade, and tuition reaches up to $30,000 annually. There's a staff chiropractor on hand to, we guess, have a crack at students and staff, and part of the curriculum involves meditation with the use of crystals. No comment.
The school reopened for in-person classes in September and photos shared on its Instagram account show mask-free students and staff decidedly not social distancing. Maybe the crystals are antimicrobial?
