Problematic Antics & Controversies

He may have said "I do," but dude hardly settled down. In the years following he was involved in a slew of scandals. He sued hot spot Bungalow 8 for $2 million after the bouncer (to whom he slung a racial epithet) refused to let him in after causing a scene, and in 2006, he was busted for drunk driving, running a red light, and driving without a license in NYC. He once told ABC News that he wrecked two BMWs in one weekend then "the next day just got a new one... because I can."

In 2016, he was charged with disorderly conduct in Miami for climbing on a roof of a car and yelling at pedestrians. In 2020, he threw his neighbor's phone in the bay when she confronted him about hosting a party during the height of Covid restrictions. Later that year, he was surrounded by armed U.S. Marshals while on his boat in South Carolina, due to an outstanding warrant from the phone incident.

As if that's not bad enough, his frequent use of racially charged insults has appeared to be an ongoing problem, even after he rebranded as a "family man." In addition to applying them when getting into scrapes with bouncers and doorpeople during his party boy youth (not that "youth" excuses anything), he was accused as recently as 2019 of calling a top publicist the n-word at an Art Basel party in Miami, along with "peasant," "whore," and "bitch."

What a great guy.
