Saturday evening, Swim Week veteran Mara Hoffman transformed Casa Casuarina, a.k.a. the Versace Mansion, into a Marrakech oasis to unveil her Resort 2016 collection. Inspired by a recent trip, she decided to channel Yves Saint Laurent while he lived in Jardin Majorelle. Models were positioned poolside in front of the opulent Mosaic Garden sporting Hoffman’s signature bold prints from black and white chevron to sprawling aloe leaves, with tousled curls and smoky eyes.
Mara Hoffman, the most highly-anticipated show during Swim Week, evidently used the loss of IMG as leverage to set the bar even higher. We caught up with Mara before the madness began, and even got to a chance to chat with her son, Joaquin!
