It's only April, but at The Standard Downtown, summer has arrived, and by that we mean the start of its weekend rooftop pool parties. This weekend marked the unofficial beginning of our favorite season (isn't it everyone's?) with dubFrequency's No Shirt/No Shoes Saturday kick-off summer fiesta on the top of the hotel.
Guests came out to the rooftop bash where they enjoyed the styles and sounds of Poolside's L.A. DJ debut, Futurecop!, Fiero Fabian, Tropicool, and Bixel Boys. Whether splashing around in the pool, laying out to catch some rays, face painting, dancing in a bikini or simply drinking the day away is your bag, there was some form of summertime fun to be had for everyone. Despite our paleness and less-than-bathing-suit-ready figure, we are so excited pool party season is finally here and can't wait to show off our sexy water wings.
