Last night the STAPLES Center got a break from being the stage for routinely inferior performances (AKA  whenever the Lakers step foot on the court) and was honored with the presence of rock royalty greatness. For the L.A. stop on their 'Quadrophenia and More' North American tour, legendary Brit rockers The Who took the floor before a completely packed house. Surviving members Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey were joined by touring members Zak Starkey (drummer son of Ringo Starr), Simon Townshend and Pino Palladino to perform their hit 1973 rock opera Quadrophenia in its entirety, as well as classics in music history like "Baba O'Riley," "Who Are You," and "Pinball Wizard." Townshend and Daltrey may be damn near 70, but The Who proved they still have it, bringing the house down with a rock show that was, by all accounts, truly spectacular.
