It's always sad to see someone who took hundreds of thousands of dollars in illegal bribes from rich people with inept children forced to put their sprawling oceanfront house for sale, but alas.
Jovan Vavic, the University of Southern California's now former men's and women's water polo coach, has put his villa-style home in Rancho Palos Verdes, California on the market for $2.499 million. Considering he was fired back in March, and probably owes a shit ton of legal fees since being indicted in the high-profile college admissions scandal, it's really no wonder he's trying to downsize a bit.
Vavic, who was named the national coach of the year 15 times throughout his career, is charged with accepting more than $250,000 in bribes to help parents get their kids into USC under the guise of athletics.
His scheme must have been going pretty well. The 3,212-square-foot home boasts massive glass doors which completely open onto an outdoor patio facing the ocean and Catalina Islands, a pool, hot tub, and fire pit, four fireplaces, and a rooftop deck. Along with all the opulent Mediterranean-style accents you'd expect. Prison's really going to be rough for this guy.
