As we see with events like the city-wide celebration of Bastille Day in Paris and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC, certain cities take specific holidays that hold a special significance to their respective culture and community very seriously. For West Hollywood, it's Halloween. The annual West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval once again returned Wednesday evening, shutting down the area for an enormous block party that drew thousands out to the streets in costumes. As expected, those who dressed up for the WeHo festivities took their looks to the next level with some of the best costumes we've seen yet. From the uncanny Obama, Honey Boo Boo Child and Tupac look a-likes to the straight up outrageous, revealing and otherwise noteworthy getups, here's a look at some of our favorite costumes of the 2012 West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval.
