Have you ever looked at old photos of your grandmother - or anyone really - and thought, "Why don't we dress like this anymore?" Glamorous statement pieces, glittering earrings, colorful cocktail rings - they all seem like relics of a time when "dressing up" wasn't just for special occasions.
Thanks to jewelry designer and curator Sarah Hendler, however, what's old is bold again - and A-listers can't get enough. The Long Island native (who is now based in Los Angeles), has always been inspired by the perfectly put-together women in her life. From the classic staples of her grandmothers, to the gems of her mother, Sarah inherited not only an enviable collection, but an appreciation of and taste for the perfect accessory.
After working in the film and restaurant industries, Sarah returned to her first love: jewelry. An expert treasure-hunter, Sarah knows her way around an estate sale, and after styling celebrity clients and curating vintage collections, she launched her own contemporary line. With a generation-spanning eye for style, it's no wonder that her unique pieces look like ready-made heirlooms.
We chatted with the multi-talented sparkler to the stars, who shared everything from must-have items to her favorite eatery in Paris!
