To kick-off the launch of their new Craft Cocktail Jelly Shot line, Ludlows Cocktail Co. threw a Bar Crawl in Downtown Los Angeles featuring exclusive first tastes of the Jelly Shots before they hit stores plus matching cocktails. The first stop was Peking Tavern, a Chinese street food gastropub, where people sipped on Wong Chiu Punch made with bai jiu, hibiscus and lemon to go with Ludlows Planter's Punch Jelly Shots, made with two year barrel aged dark Trinidad rum, pineapple, cherry, lime and coconut. The next bar was Mas Malo for Medicina Latinas with tequila blanco, lime, agave and ginger paired with Ludlows Fresh Lime Margarita Jelly Shots, made with tequila blanco, lime, triple sec, and salt. The night ended with DJ's, dancing, and bottled cocktail table service at Honeycut, where people helped themselves to Candy's Room, a mix of gin, Lillet Rose, lemon, peach and ginger fizz, to match with Ludlows Moscow Mule Jelly Shot, made with 5x distilled triple filtered vodka, ginger beer and lime.
UBER provided complimentary SUV transportation to each of the bars. As guests left for the evening, they took home a Ludlows Cocktail Co. tote bag with swag from Arts District Printing Co., Saucey, Merchants Case Co., and hangover prevention products like Dry Soda, Masala Pop, Herbal Zap, and a Coolhaus Ice Cream treat.
Ludlows Jelly Shots will soon hit shelves in Southern CA wherever fine wine and spirits are sold. Their five launch flavors are Old Fashioned, Meyer Lemon Drop, Fresh Lime Margarita, Planter's Punch and Moscow Mule and are all crafted with all-natural ingredients, premium spirits and do not require refrigeration. Ludlows Cocktail Co. is a start-up focused on innovative, all-natural, craft spirits products and is co-founded by Coolhaus Ice Cream co-founder Freya Estreller.
