September is a difficult month for those of us in the media world. Our Hamptons tans are fading, fashion week is draining, and we still haven't even begun to build our fall wardrobes. #TheStruggle. So when Thrillist invited us to spend a weekend in San Diego with them last weekend, we couldn't get our bags packed faster. Their biggest event of the year, Thrillist took over the Hard Rock Hotel and turned it into Hotel Thrillist 2014, showcasing the best of what the city has to offer. From the moment we landed until the moment we ordered an Uber to take us back to New York, there was something epic to see and do.
